It's been a while since I decided to write something. It's like my brain was dead for few days or something.
Nothing much lately, beside waiting for the time to hit the books again. Books - aih..I actually missed them. Lol. It's not that I haven't been reading lately. It has been a while since I read something educational..Bleargh...look who's talking...lol..

I guess I'll be reading some serious shit soon. I'm gonna do Medicine. Eh, why the sudden change ? Everyone been asking that. What happen to my dream of building an Eryn Empire ? Lol, science..it was part of me since I was a kid. Haha..I bet you guys sitting there thinking that something wrong with Miss Eryn. After taking both streams and had a deep thought and compared everything. Medicine it is. So in years to come, anyone who's suffering from heartbroken or thinking he/she is crazy or something. Feel free to meet your friendly doctor, Dr.Eryn. Lol...try to be picture me being a doctor. It's just hillarious aight ?

Then the Dr. Eryn marry some rockstar..the whole picture just turn ironic. I'll be working at my clinic which is a trailer...and treat my husband and his band mates who suffered from sprained joints after jumping too hard during the concert...lol ok,ok...Eryn and her weird ass thoughts.

It looks like only me doing the whole medicine thing, most of my friends doing business, or mass com.. Art is always a passion, but I dont look at it as a career. I guess I'll stick by being a musically inclined doctor ? Lol..there's always a part of me singing in the woods...doesn't mean you decided to do something else that has nothing to do with your passion you'll just dont give a damn about it later.

I'm going on a holiday soon. Chilling in "holidae-inn"..going to Pulau Redang. Maybe anytime soon, or a month before i start studying back. We'll see, have to plan things out and sort things out, and the most important is to fork money out ? Lol...beach..wanna hit Bali...but it was way out of our league..so a small 3-5 days vacation in Malaysia will do. Unless I could find some wealthy ringgitaire rockstar who could afford our trip..lol..my rockstar right now could only afford fried rice for lunch and dinner..Ishhhhh....lol..

So what's next for Eryn ? I just gonna let it slide I guess ? Just like the song for today's blog.

When I was a puppy, I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child, and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend.Whenever I was " bad ", you'd shake your finger at me and ask " How could you? " - but then you'd relent and roll me over for a belly rub.

My house breaking took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together. I remember those nights of nuzzling you in bed and listening to your confidences and secret dreams, and I believed that life could not be any more perfect.

We went for long walks and runs in the park, car rides, stops for ice cream ( I only got the cone because " ice cream is bad for dogs " you said ), and I took long naps in the sun waiting for you to come home at the end of the day.

Gradually, you began spending more time at work and on your career, and more time searching for a human mate. I waited for you patiently, comforted you through heartbreaks and disappointments, never chided you about bad decisions, and romped with glee at your homecomings, and when you fell in love. She, now your wife, is not a " dog person ", still I welcomed her into our home, tried to show her affection, and obeyed her. I was happy because you were happy.

Then the human babies came along and I shared your excitement. I was fascinated by their pinkness, how they smelled, and I wanted to mother them, too. I loved everything about them and their touch - because your touch was now so infrequent - and I would've defended them with my life if need be. I would sneak into their beds and listen to their worries and secret dreams, and together we waited for the sound of your car in the driveway.

There had been a time, when others asked you if you had a dog, that you produced a photo of me from your wallet and told them stories about me. These past few years, you just answered " yes " and changed the subject. I had gone from being " your dog " to " just a dog ", and you resented every expenditure on my behalf.

Now, you have a new career opportunity in another city, and you and they will be moving to an apartment that does not allow pets. After you left, the two nice ladies said you probably knew about your upcoming move months ago and made no attempt to find me another good home. They shook their heads and asked " How could you? " They are as attentive to us here in the shelter as their busy schedule sallow. They feed us, of course, but I lost my appetite days ago. At first, whenever anyone passed my pen, I rushed to the front, hoping it was you that you had changed your mind - that this was all a bad dream...or I hoped it would at least be someone who cared,anyone who might save me.

When I realized I could not compete with the frolicking for attention of happy puppies, oblivious to their own fate, I retreated to a far corner and waited. I heard her footsteps as she came for me at the end of the day, and I padded along the aisle after her to a separate room. A blissfully quiet room. She placed me on the table and rubbed my ears, and told me not to worry. My heart pounded in anticipation of what was to come, but there was also a sense of relief. As is my nature, I was more concerned about her.

The burden which she bears weighs heavily on her, and I know that,the same way I knew your every mood. She gently placed a tourniquet around my foreleg as a tear ran down her cheek. I licked her hand in the same way I used to comfort you so many years ago. She expertly slid the hypodermic needle into my vein. As I felt the sting and the cool liquid coursing through my body, I lay down sleepily, looked into her kind eyes and murmured " How could you? " Perhaps because she understood my dog speak, she said " I'm so sorry ".

She hugged me, and hurriedly explained it was her job to make sure I went to a better place, where I wouldn't be ignored or abused or abandoned, or have to fend for myself - a place of love and light so very different from this earthly place.

:*: Female DJs - Are they novelty acts ? :*:

A DJ, whether male or female, is good or bad depending on their taste in music, their ability to “read a crowd” and keep a dance floor happy. For some reason, the men outnumber the women in this endeavor, but the women are clearly forces to be reckoned with.

Why did I decided to write about female dj's, oh well I've been receiving a lot of questions lately why didn't I venture this whole music industry since I am affliated with a lot of people in this industry we called show biz. From record artists to underground performers. From sound engineer to the boom boy.Some actor and actresses here and there, even my own sisters - both involves in this entertainment stuff. I became friends with too many of them especially dj's.

DJ-ing, looks fun. Trust me its something that gives you pleasure when you see the crowd dancing to every beat you produced. Whether you're a Skratch Dj or a Mixed Dj, it doesn't matter. It gives you pleasure seeing people happy, dancing letting the melody taking over their body like they couldn't careless about everything else around them.

But it's a hardwork too, you have to come out with something new all the time - cause people would get bored if ya keep doing the same thing over and over again honey... You have to be creative, and keep up with the revolving music industry. Looking at my friends hard work everyday, put a pause down my dream to pursue a career in DJ-ing, lol..it's not like i've thought of doing it...haha..

But a female dj ? It's kinda odd when ya try to picture a ladette up on the decks spinning, skratchin' when she's the one suppose to be on the dance floor alluring every guys into her cage, lol...

We're still lack of them, society still have the thoughts that being a Dj - you have to be in male with a dick hanging out in "da hood" and start your thug"gish" slang. " Wanna hang out in my crib ma ? " "Yo..yO..YOyo...wanna play roll da yoyo's with me ma ? "...starts walking around bopping ya head and put on the hoody when it's not even drizzling...and what so ever..

I think that BOTH male and female's are equally talented. Yes male dj's are a dime a dozen. What sets the female dj apart is that people tend to think to themselves, "Man, this chick can spin!". So they focus more on the fact that a girl is playing records, rather than some talented individual is making your body move.

A guy can be jumping around the booth, clapping and smiling as much as he can. but if a girl goes and does the same, I bet you would enjoy her set more. I guess it's more of a novelty.

It's a known fact that women have a much more delicate touch and sensibility when it comes to art...and music is no exception.

Female Djs should not be treated as novelty acts, no way...I'm glad there's opportunity for them to show their stuff and at the same time, they better be good...the fact that they are female spinning doesn't really impress me...I want to see some talent.

How about me ? Well I'll just stick to skratchin' balls and spins my body around the floor aight ? I'll just stick to doing my thing on the dance floor. But probably pursue more in acting and singing, owh you gotta hear me sing - I'm the famous rain maker.

Many people see it as a martial art -- others as a dance, and there those who believe that it is their religion and cultural identity. I see it as a work out, lol.

The description of Capoeira varies according to people's personalities. It is a native Brazilian Indian word given to a small partridge whose male is very jealous and engages in fierce fights with its rivals. Capoeira blends elements of dance, music, rituals, acrobatics, and fighting. Looks fun, now im gonna be a warrior princess ? Make that a " Sexy Warrior Princess ". Lol..

Anyone can find some form of identity in Capoeira. Let's take for instance somebody who lives in a big city like Kuala Lumpur. He will probably see Capoeira as a martial art or as a form of self-defense. Because of the intensity of the city, and the challenges that he faces everyday, it makes him a natural "warrior" and he brings this instinct in to Capoeira's circle.

Brazilians call Capoeira a game. Capoeira is "played", not fought.

A circle is made, called a roda. Music is played, and everyone sings and claps while two players interact in the center. The leading instrument is a berimbau. Also played is a drum called an atabaque and a pandeiro (tambourine). A berimbau is a one stringed, bow shaped instrument with a gourd attached to one end to give resonance. But in the fitness club they'll just put in the CD and play the music, so dont expect to see all those instruments aight ?

The game of Capoeira requires the use of intuition and foresight and does not rely solely on the use of physical strength. During the game the capoeiristas skillfully expose the limitations of their opponents and engage in playful attacks and counterattacks thus better enabling themselves to discover their personal power. I might get distracted looking at the hot guys bouncing with me, haha...

It's subtle blending of gymnastics and dance moves make the capoeira game unique in the world of martial arts. The challenge for the player is to harmoniously meld together in a powerful flow the balance and flexibility of acrobatics, the grace and strength of dance, the speed and cunning of the fight, and the rhythms of the music. I think it's the best form of martial arts around, its just interesting - we would never encounter a musical kick boxing now would we ? My bf is starting back his kick boxing classes and muay thai hoping to be the next Ong Bak .. lol kickboxer in the making ? We're just into this fitness week campaign, lol...

The classes gonna be held at California Fitness Club formerly known as Sweat Club, I guess the name "sweat" just unappealing they had to change it..lol..

It's in Mid Valley Megamall, they're classes for weekdays and weekends, starting from morning classes, afternoon and evening...I'm gonna check it out soon, anyone wanna join me ? Would be fun going together and sweat it all out together..lol..kinda wonder how I'll look like flying around bouncing across the room tho, catch me if i fall yeah ?

Body..aching..need..a hot babe to massage

After a short break, I decided to continue my Muay Thai training, and I discovered somehin, I am now, officially unfit..hahah..oh well, I am sure i'll get back in shape.

Before the training starts, we had to skip rope for 15 minutes and do 200 sit ups... blek...haha..It was hard at first, but after a while, I got the rhythm back..the punches came back..the kicks came back...I guess it really is like riding a bicycle.

Fun time tho, tiring nontheless..hahah..got back, almost dozed off completely..ahah... It took me around an hour of nonstop training before i ran out of breath...damn aussie air..fuckin dry..haha..gasping dry air doesnt really help..

And I got a kit which consists of a pair of shorts, shin pads, gloves, wraps, a singlet and a tee... man, now all of the hot blondes will see my skinny, hairy legs.. argh the horror....

And oh, if you all are wondering why the music on this blog keeps changing, haha, its Eryn playing around with it..making her blog more..musically inclined..hahahah...

You know how there are all these books out there on Sarong Party Girls, and the barrage of articles in the local paper and letters that respond to them, but none of them are ever really written by someone who freely admits that she’s a, well, SPG. I just bought one recently, after wondering who the heck were they..lol..and i finished reading it an hour ago.

They’re usually written by either single local men who feel as if the angmos were depriving them of their share of women, or by Caucasians who think these silly Asian girls are being very silly indeed in their worship of the penises of the west (Neil Humphreys has a rather amusing article on SPGs – albeit inaccurate - in his mildly amusing second book on the island-nation) or well, by women who date Caucasians and try desperately to defend themselves by saying that they’d date a local boy anytime if he met their criteria of being extremely eloquent, absolutely interesting, and unrestraint-ly generous..yeah, sure... *rolls eyes*

I’m not saying that what these people write are entirely untrue, because like any other demographic, girls that date white men come in a (I’d like to believe) substantially diversified range of characters and temperaments. But the, well, despite all the insight they give into this Asian trend – yes, a trend. It’s apparently becoming disturbingly..apparently in KL, (to quote one of those local guys who think they don’t get any because all the women are getting laid by white men)- they don’t exactly tell you anything about the SPG. As an individual.

All right. The term Sarong Party Girl is really supposed to be derogatory. According to the current encyclopedia of all things SPG (Jim Aitchison’s Sarong Party Girl), she’s really supposed to be a gold-digger, a slut (and I’m not talking about Marty Beckerman’s Sexually Liberated Urban Teens, even though I have to acknowledge that some party girls fall into that category –lol-) and well, as far as I know, basically that.

I know it all sounds rather insulting, but well, here’s a little not-so-secret. All women like money and all women like sex. And I know – oh from talking to a few local girls, not necessarily ones that have ever dated Caucasians- that all of them secretly want to snag one. And the reasons are absolutely so primordial in nature it really epitomizes the whole dating game. But I'm 18 , i don't know much.. im talking through my own point of view, looking at the groups of cliques i had.

Reason one, they’re loaded. It’s not that I’d want them because they’re a walking credit card, but having a huge disposable income means excessive dates, extravagant holidays and kinky underwear. Not trying to defend myself, or other party girls, but I’m sure most of us don’t go, “Oh I want this new Gucci handbag…um… please?” You’d have to have skin like leather to do that..and we all know how lovingly soft the skins of sweet asian things are...lol..i think mine are soft, well they better be after tons of lotions i splat on to my skin..lol..

And on to reason two. And this really is a big deal to me. Caucasians are better then local men in bed. But let's just not go into the tasteless details. They said it's a fact that Asian sucks, but i don't think so..lol. The Chinese have small penises and the Indians are the most prone to ED - that's erectile dysfunction for the uninitiated. Carrie Bradshaw knows how important good sex is to a relationship, and so do all women, from Boston to Beijing, Sydney to Singapore.

Finally, local boys live with their parents. Those that don’t live with their girlfriends. Or their wives, and 1.2 kids. All that will mean a few things. Either you have to sneak into their bedrooms, still littered with broken He-Man toys from 2 decades back well past midnight, or book into a hotel room- remember how broke they are? Chances are, it’s not going to be at Shangri La - or agree to a ménage a trios with their wives. The last of which isn’t all that bad, I’ve always wanted to see how I’d look after one conventional and one caesarian delivery...and me being a mummy...lol freaky thoughts...

Oh, and what would dating the alternative entail? Nice all night romps to Norah Jones with a spectacular view of the Klang River – it actually looks quite nice when you can’t see what color it really is..

See, it’s not a matter of racial discrimination in dating really.

Besides, isn’t dating someone not of your own race just All the range these days.

"Norma Jean" couldn't shine her path to stardom. The fame, the glory, the attention you'll received. Entertainment biz was everything back in the old days, well it still does mean "everything" to the bimbos around the world now..let me cut the list short to 2 names - Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie. No, I'm not the president of the
anti-bimbos society...and NO - i am not addicted to Miss Monroe although we both shares the same birth date. I wonder if she's witty and whacky like me, or did she have that nitty-gritty personality like the others : Geminian ? Lol, who will ever know..she's dead anyway.

She died of drug overdosed. Died in a depression state. She was 34, when she died. It was on a black 5th of August. Sheesh...i remembered her death day, lol..number one fan i guess ? Nah..she's like a some long lost..well a very lost ancestors of mine..lol..it's 5.22am don't mind me crapping.

Did you know, Marilyn wasn't a blonde ? She dyed her hair blonde, cause in the old days blondes had some status in the community - but believe me they're always the dumb ones..Their lil grandchilds still lived till today, for example Jessica Simpson, she's just so stupid. Oh, please don't ever watch "Newlyweds" - she's tryna being cute when she's not. At least watching "Simple Life", you could laugh your ass off with their acts and stuff.

Well back to our Miss Marilyn, yeah she went to this talent scout if i'm not mistaken she was the few brunettes that went for the interview, she realised that they dont even looked at her. Later in the next audition she came with a blonde hair, well you know how it went she got accepted.

She worked as a model for a auto calendar as her first job, man was she just hot and sexy that time. By the way it was a porn thing that got her famous. Yeah then she work on few musicals, films and sort. She was just the primadona of the century during her era. She got married to a news reporter, yeah but he was jealous for her fame and attention she had. Some said he married her for her money, like i said only Marilyn knows the real deal - we'll just sit here and interpret her life to so many imaginative versions.

She reached her 30's and she had a baby. That time younger stars were rising, so she had competitors around her. She was forced to abort the baby, to keep on working - oh gosh it was the painful decision in her life. When i said painful i mean PAINFUL, cause she dont really went to a safe practioner..she went to one of the mexican village to abort her baby, imagine the pain and suffer....she went into a state of depression that time.

During that time, she was highly influenced by drugs. If i remembered the story correctly if was her husband who got her high on drugs...one day people found her dead in her room, i think it was the maid. Some said it was overdosed of drug usage, some said someone drugged her, some said it was her attempt at suiciding well yeah she succeeded..she's dead now..lol.

34 years of life went down the drain just in a flash. Yeah, she's young and naive. When you're born in a poor family and forced to get on your own two feets to support yourself, sometimes you just lost at it. It's not just about being an actor, we're all actors and actresses in this movie called LIFE.

That was my two cents on Marilyn Monroe based on her real life movie, which i watched when i was 10. Lol....8 years back..yeah i'm getting older. I hope I don't end like my Granny Marilyn.
